95 million posts are shared on Instagram (social media) every day.
And as mentioned, that’s Instagram alone.
That’s what you are competing with (kind of). More and more people are publishing on social media every day.
But, even among all this is competition, there’s room to grow. Here’s how you can market your content on social media.
Create a tailored strategy for different platforms
Creating content in a way that the algorithm likes it, that’s half the magic.
It may seem like common sense, but it’s important to remember.
Often people try to cram in too much text in the post image without putting much thought into how the user would handle it.
A content strategy would help you remain consistent while keeping the content quality high.
Get your hashtags right!
It’s hard to say how important hashtags are now because some think it’s crucial to get them right while the others couldn’t care less, or maybe that’s just life.
Anyways, we will give you our opinion; hashtags work for us, and we think you should put in the effort.
While picking hashtags, here are three things to consider:
- Hashtag Size
- Amount of Hashtags
In short, remember to use relevant hashtags, with a good mix of small and big hashtags and use no more than 25 hashtags in one post (experiment with less, too!).
Post at the right times
This becomes important as your audience grows; posting at the right times will allow you to get your content to the most eyes.
But yeah, posting at a particular time every day can be stressful, and that’s where schedulers come in.
We can’t stress enough how important this is. Think about it like this; if you are a surfer, trends are those big waves that you absolutely need to be on.
Social media trends during their time can help you gain a lot of traction, resulting in higher engagement.
We are not saying that; you should only follow trends and post nothing else. Trends are the gateway to engage with a newer and different audience which would otherwise be very difficult to get to.
In those 95 million daily posts, there are a lot of bots too.
These bots just post pictures, comments and never communicate. That’s what bots do. Do you want to be like that?
To effectively market your content on social media, you must gather an audience that can relate to you. The only way you make them stick is if you communicate appropriately.
Respond to comments, answer people’s questions, small things like this go a long way in creating an audience.
Create. Optimize. Post. Repeat.
That’s the formula, people. The only way to not get anywhere on social media is if you forget the social part.
Remember that you are trying to connect with other humans and follow your plan; you will crush it!
